THE ADORKABLES
Hailing from a section of central California’s known as "the salad bowl of the world," The Adorkables not only adhere to the style set forth by the forefathers of punk rock, but with their catchy, hook laden songs write their own unique chapter in the history of pop-punk. The four musicians that make up The Adorkables come together with widely different musical tastes and backgrounds, thus brewing up the sweet, sweet elixir that keeps fans begging for more. Backgrounds that range from punk, to metal, to reggae, and jazz, give these musicians a far more diverse musical library to draw from than most other bands in their genre. Come this June, the band will contribute four brand new, previously unreleased tracks for Summer Sounds: Four Reasons for the Season Vol. 2 alongside the Bluffingtons, the Sheckies & the Kilowatts.

THE BLOCKHEADS
The Blockheads were a punk rock band out of San Diego, California back in the early 2000's. The band was founded in the late 90s by the same members that ended the band in early 2002. The band independently recorded & released an eleven track full-length CD titled Braindead in late 2001. Each individual copy was hand numbered & are currently out of print.
Having only released one full-length, the Blockheads eventually disbanded & formed various punk rock projects in which some have gone & some remain today. Members have moved on to form other notable local acts BuRbs, SpecialGuest, Rich White Males, Generics & Idiot Box.
Come this summer, Braindead will be given the treatment of a remaster & be once again available. We will be reissuing the classic record exclusively through all digital download extensions worldwide on October 16, 2007.

THE BLUFFINGTONS
The Bluffingtons formed in late 2004 while listening to the Ramones & sniffing glue. They have quickly won fans over from laundromats to street corners to back yeards & playgrounds. The band specializes in writing stupid songs about love, questioning one's gender & having fun until the end of time. Come this June, the band will contribute four brand new, previously unreleased tracks for Summer Sounds: Four Reasons for the Season Vol. 2 alongside the Adorkables, the Sheckies & the Kilowatts.

THE BURBS
The BuRbs developed in late summer of 2003 as a three piece with two members of the Underhills & one SpecialGuest. What was originally desinged to be a "covers only" side-project, soon constructed into a full-time commitment once the Underhills called it quits in late fall of 2003. The band recorded their debut effort There's A High Price For Livin' Nice EP in early 2004 with a May release. Along sharing stages with Angry Samoans, Agent Orange, Throw Rag and others, the band emabarked on a summer tour to support their six-song release. Upon their return, the band entered the studio and recorded ten new tracks in which seven were selected for their follow-up sophmore CD effort release These Dreams Ain't What They Seem EP in the fall of 2004. Upon completion in early 2005, and having not released the new record, the band decided to go their seperate ways and concentrate on other interests. Recently we selected four tunes from the record for our 2006 debut comp/split Summer Sounds: Four Reasons for the Season Vol. 1. With the overall success of the four-way split, we have re-issued their 2004 High Price EP in a Special Edition format with all new artwork & bonus DVD featuring a video to their Summer Sounds Vol. 1 track Let's Go.

THE CHALLENGED
Straight out of Brooklyn comes the Challenged. A harder-edged, yet melodic trio, the Challenged combine lyrical food for thought intertwined with catchy riffs on a punk rock platform taken from the likes of Rancid, Face to Face & Screeching Weasel but in a way that makes their sound a flavor of their own.
We are proud to have them in the family here at Cabana 1, and come this November we will be unleashing their new full-length record titled Relapse. With determination to constantly tour & catchy songs-o-plenty, this band is one to keep your eye on & ears wide open to as they are bound to make a lot of peoples "top 10" of 2007 lists.

THE GUTS
We are so damn proud to announce the Guts have joined the Cabana 1 family that we're gonna rant about it right here! If you are not familiar with these guys by now, head to the garage & grab a hammer and pound yourself over the head! Ex-Queers, ex-Nobodys, these guys have been stomping around for awhile now & they are at the top of their game. The Guts & Prozacs recently teamed-up for a 7" split titled Stickin' With It.

THE KILOWATTS
The Kilowatts are 3 guys from Cleveland, Ohio who really like playing music. They have been in plenty of insignifigant bands, their social skills are basically non-existent & they would like to consider themselves a lot cooler than they actually are. But how do we feel about 'em? We feel they fit right in with our family! Come this June, the band will contribute four brand new, previously unreleased tracks for Summer Sounds: Four Reasons for the Season Vol. 2 alongside the Bluffingtons, the Sheckies & the Adorkables.

THE LEBOWSKIS
Call 'em Ramones-core, call 'em sons of mutant-pop-punk, call 'em four-on-the-floor, whatever floats your boat, the Lebowskis say keep it simple, and keep it short. With songs that really satisfy in the two minute mark, we couldn't agree more. Straight out of Pennsylvania, the Lebowskis are a quartet that deliver punk 'n roll in vein of Riverdales, HEAD & the Vapids. With a recent CDEP release on Space Race Records, the band contributes four brand new tunes for the Cabana 1 debut split Summer Sounds: Four Reasons for the Season Vol. 1 alongside the BuRbs, the Prozacs & Regal Beagle.

THE PROZACS
Straight from the East Coast comes the pop-punk royalty act known as the Prozacs. Featuring members of the Grandprixx, the band was formed by Jay Prozac out of Ware, Massachussets. Having released numerous full-lengths, splits & one live album with Cheapskate Records, the band has contributed four previously unreleased tunes for the Cabana 1 debut split Summer Sounds: Four Reasons for the Season Vol. 1, alongside the BuRbs, Regal Beagle & the Lebowskis. With a classic sound reminiscent of mid-90's pop-punk, the Prozacs are possibly best classified as the early Screeching Weasel days meets the pre-Joel Reader volumes of MTX. The three-piece is best described as highly energetic pop music that's mixed with goof-ball lyrical content brought out by melodic guitars & praising choruses; Tunes for any occasion! This July 07 brings their highly-anticipated 7" split w/ the Guts titled Stickin' With It. Just in time for summer, gimme-gimme the Prozac!

REGAL BEAGLE
It came from the basement! Regal Beagle hails from the greater Los Angeles area in Southern California. Formed by all the current members in the early 90's, the band has toured & shared stages with nearly every old & new school punk band under the sun. Regal Beagle has written & recorded a plethora of tunes along the way, including the hit Baby Girl in which the Queers covered for a comp release on Peephole Records in 2004. With no "official" releases to date, the band now contributes four stellar selections for the Cabana 1 debut split Summer Sounds: Four Reasons for the Season Vol. 1, alongside the Burbs, the Prozacs & the Lebowskis. Two of the four tracks will be available soon on their recently recorded full-length produced by the one and only Joe King Queer! In our most humble opinion, Regal Beagle is still the best pop-punk band around today. One listen and you'll know why.

THE RYDELLS
The Rydells come from New Hampshire. Basically, the Queers, the Jabbers & the Guts come from New Hampshire, so you really need no introduction here. That little speck on the map seems to breed the best in pop punk, without a doubt. Only difference is, the guys are so fucking straight ahead it is unreal. Many bands claim the "we play Ramones-esque pop punk" bullshit, but the simple fact is these guys live, breathe, eat & even shit Ramones! And we couldn't be prouder to have them join the Cabana 1 Records family! Come this spring, we'll be unleashing their brand new full-length CD titled Rock N Roll Is The Answer. From we have had the pleasure of sampling thus far, this record will make many top ten lists for 2008!

THE SHECKIES
The Sheckies were formed with no talent and absolutely no respect for each other as they started making the fun, loving sounds of pogo punk rock in 2003. Influenced by Ramones, Riverdales, Sloppy Seconds & the Queers, they play songs about too much T.V. watching, eating and the tales of heartbreak that no one else dares. Come this June, the band will contribute four brand new, previously unreleased tracks for Summer Sounds: Four Reasons for the Season Vol. 2 alongside the Bluffingtons, the Adorkables & the Kilowatts.

THE UNDERHILLS
Since our inception in early 2000, the Underhills have released 2 full-lengths & 2 EP's with us. Upon releasing their 2000 full-length Self-titled cassette effort, the band returned in 2002 with their follow-up full-length CD effort Belligerence Is Bliss. Upon release, the band played several mini-tours sharing stages with DK, Angry Samoans, FEAR, UK SUBS, Dickies, DI & many others. Following a string of member changes plus a two year hiatus, the band returned better than ever in 2005 with a double shot of releases: their brand new five-song CDEP What Went Wrong & their previously unreleased 2003 six-song gem, mastered by the one and only Mass Giorgini, Get Smart EP.
In 2006 the band once again called it quits shortly after completing studio work on material that was intended for a split 7" with the Prozacs titled We're Not Recruiting for the Boyscouts. The tracks from this session were sealed in the vault.
In 2007, the band handed over an unreleased track titled Lesson Learned for Where The Fun Never Sets Vol. 1.
March 2007, the band released Bit By Bit as Cabana 1's very first digital-exclusive release which is now available through all worldwide digital downloading extensions!
So, what does the future hold for our dear Underhills? Guess you will have to wait & see...
